Only good for mild or early onset though.

I've been through a shed load of stuff from nsaids to biologics such as Enbrel and Humira both anti-TNF's that are self injected.

Next week I start Rituximab a 6 hour infusion treatment that strips the B cells from the blood that can cause autoimmune disease such as RA.

methotrexate is the weekly pill i take just now for the arthritis. better with it than without, but some joints still sore.

Just had one cleaned up in my shoulder and have one on my left thumb, considering I've had RA for 17 years now I am grateful.

Be really careful with any of the Non Steroidal Anti Inflamatories (NSAIDs) I have been on them for years then last weekend my guts sprung a leak and I crapped about a pint of blood!

I missed being admitted for a blood transfusion because it stopped by itself. Now I can't take them or even use the rubs and my joints are screaming

Didn't you get a stomach protector prescribed at the same time? I did but still have problems at times.

My treatment now consists of an infusion that destroys the B cells in the blood, 6 hours in a recliner having steroids, saline solution and Rituximab pumped into me. If it works it's every 6 months or even longer.

Yep been on OMEPRAZOLE for protection but for some reason it didn't work this time.

Feeling a lot better now but it was a bit scary at the time. Now on double OMEPRAZOLE for 8 weeks then no more NSAID's ever. My joints are killing me hopefully they will ease up in the warmer weather.

Glad it's improved.

I still take Lansaprazole daily, most likely forever even if the infusion treatment works. NSAIDS are often worse than the problem.
