Our Merseyside rep & freind, Chris Jones has been knocked off his bike (CB 400)
& has broken a bone in his back! (L4) fortunately it hasn't damaged his spinal cord!
He's been fitted up with a back brace & been on a zimmer frame (can't wear his leg because of twisting when walking)

So will be out of action for abit, so if any one wants to send cards, flowers, beer , bike bits? forward to the office & I'm sure they will be passed on.

Get well soon mate, smiffy, Wendy & all from the Buxton crew. 8))big

Ohh Jeez, glad it isn't more serious, but it's bad enough. Rest well and take care.

Thanks for all the kind messages, glad to report my Motley Crue hair is still intact although the same cannot be said for my bones, its fair to say the result could have been a lot worse and i feel fortunate to say the least. I now have a couple of months in a chest brace to look forward to but im feeling fitter by the day and up for the challenge, at least the Spondon GSXR is unscathed, luckily i had just dropped the rather sick motor out the day b4 the crash and was riding a CB400 at impact time. Some blind fool turned across my path from the opposite lane when i was 40ft from his car, no time to even brake, anyway have a star witness so fingers crossed. At the end of the day i know the guy didnt do it on purpose but i wish drivers would take more care when it comes to bikes. As for me il be back on the road next year with a fresh motor and hopefully a bit more luck, thanks again people.
