My wife has just put in an order for an 80cc nippi so with any look we will be able to attend a few rallies either the end of this year or definately next year (have had a 17 year break from rallies) come to think of it the last rally I did was a NABD rally at the Cherry Tree in Nantwich cheshire I think lol. Any way looking forward to putting a few faces to the names on here. Thanks for all the info people have put on my posts, much appreciated. Ride free guys :D

HairyRsdBiker,

May she enjoy it and have been fun and happy memories on it.

I've not looked back since getting my 50cc in 2007, and will continue to enjoy it for years to come.

Dave

First of all, please excuse the 'typo' in my last entry on the post - the use of the word 'been'. Only JUST noticed it (lol! ).

You say you've to get your own bike done now - Can I ask why?

because she doesn't want to go out on her own to start off, and I've been off the road for 16 years, its taken me 5 years to get my bike together lol. Its a Kawasaki KZ750 F1 1983 so parts have been difficult to find :D

Sorry for my mistake. Of course she'd want you out there with her. There are times I wish my Nippi had space for a 'Pillion'. Angie - my wife - would LOVE it! :)

Looks like a nice bike - I've just googled the make/model for pics. I can see what you mean about getting the parts. They'd most likely not be available anymore from suppliers, I expect. How're you going to source them?

Carbs mainly, just put a set of mikuni's on but it should have a bank of keihins, other than that I've pretty much got all the parts as they are the same as my GT750, May also need a rectifier, not sure though

wife has had battle with dvla over her licence (see post in idle chatter "dvla are a bunch of idiots") but she is now waiting for delivery of her nippy as soon as they have finished building it. The Nippy company have been great and very patient I would recommend them to anyone :D

hope it all goes well :D when you get it, do the bounce test on both side's to see if it is too bouncy on the same side as the engine like mine was, as this will make it pull to one side like mine did. i just got a adjusting tool from ebay and made it stiffer on that side now it dont pull to one side on pull off or braking. i hope this help's.. the nippi are a good little trike and thank's to nippi I own one 8)
please let me know how it goe's. thank you
