Hi
I have arthritis in the neck facet joints, which means when keeping my neck straight and looking forward as per normal riding position on a R1200gs, After about an hour i get progressively worse neck pain spreading into my right shoulder, after 4 hours rotating my head for lifesaver look becomes interesting.
I want to sit in a slightly more laid back position so i have to tilt my head forward to relive the pressure on the facet joint. i have bar risers and a low seat.
I did buy a tall screen from Givi, very nice visor up motoring but it made the neck issue much worse. I then bought a bikini screen and shortened it and the wind blast helped by taking some of the pressure off the already angry neck muscles (only good when going fast).
Anyone else have or had this issue and how did you cure it, as i don't really do the Harley thing (not enough electronics for me)? Any suggestions are welcome.

Could always try a Japanese cruiser (Kawasaki,Suzuki,Honda,Yamaha) plenty of electrics and gizmo's on them and they are very comfortable to ride also plenty of aftermarket bits to make them just how you need them.

I saw something recently, a lifesaver mirror. This is not a recommendation, never used one.

Trouble is I can not remember what they are called, but I did Google and found this.

Might be worth finding out a bit more about the Reevu (rear view) helmets
