Howsit from sunny South Africa!

I'm a high paraplegic biker, and I wwill start building a trike which I can ride while seated in my chair. Hope to get loads of advice from you all! I have started a fundraiser to help fund the build, am I allowed to post a link to that on here?

Hi diff40 and welcome.

Sounds like a nice project to keep you busy. Have you seen the Nippy?

It's not a very busy forum I am sorry to say and we are all pretty much in the same boat as yourself, so don't hold your breath for fund raising. However, there is a grants department for specific adaptations such as gear shifters. Again, I do not know what funds there are just now.

I am sure Delboy will be along soon and put us both right.

Diff40 is in South Africa - I think the NABD only gives grants in Britain.

Also I don't think they will allow a link to a fundraising page, as a registered charity they are only akllowed to fundraise for the charity.

But good luck with it all, hope you manage to raise the funds you need!
